Hannah Peoples Portrait Photoshoot

Let me start by saying that Hannah absolutely rocked this photoshoot. The pictures that we were able to capture turned out awesome. This was a great photo session. Hannah came with her best friend Melissa which by the way was super sweet to help me out throughout the photo shoot holding the light and pushing and pulling my little wagon with equipment. She became my assistant “French accent” as she kept calling herself.

We planned to meet on a Monday evening, but there was a little bit of confusion, and Hannah thought she scheduled for Sunday. I was available that day, so we went ahead and got together on Sunday, which turned out was the best decision ever since weekdays are super busy on campus, and Sunday we didn’t have that problem at all, and the weather felt great it was still on the high 90’s, but it didn’t feel like it. We met at the architecture building at UTA in Arlington, TX. I have previously done photo sessions near UTA, but never on this side of the campus. This side of UTA is beautiful with lots of excellent spots to make beautiful portraits. This is a lovely location for graduation and senior photos.

We started the session with a few technical issues as my Godox flash modifier broke before I could even open it. I usually carry around a few extra items for cases like this when something doesn’t work as it is supposed to, but unfortunately, this wasn’t the case, so I had to improvise with what I had available in my camera bag. I’m so happy and grateful that Hannah and Jessica were super understanding about the situation.

We took a few pictures on the street side of the building, and move our way into the middle section of the building where you can see a beautiful water fountain where by the way Hannah would end up jumping into at the end of her photo shoot. You can see it on the behind the scenes video. She was just determined to jump in there and try to get a few pictures in the water wearing a beautiful dress, which by the way was my favorite outfit from the photo session.
I had a great time doing this photoshoot. Hannah was super friendly and easy to work with from the moment we started planning her photoshoot. Once she heard the click of the camera, she would just flow with her poses. Thank you again for allowing me to take portrait pictures of you, and I hope that we will work again sometime soon.
If you want to know a little bit more about Hannah check out this brief questionnaire, and if you would like to follow her on Instagram you can do so here. I put together this behind the scenes video of this portrait photoshoot check it out here.
