Tell us about yourself. What do you do? What are your hobbies? What is one fun fact about you?
My wife and I are a team, and she is a 5th-grade teacher, and I am an administrative assistant. We got into photography several years ago, and my wife still helps a lot, but I am the main one who takes pictures now. We love to walk around little towns and big cities, and my wife loves to garden and cook as well. In my spare time, I also dance salsa and DJ latin music. My wife is on a mission of going through an entire cookbook without skipping any recipes.
If you could pick one word that describes you, what would it be?
Perfectionist for me. Improviser for my wife.
One thing about yourself people would never know about you just by looking at you?
Dancing and being a DJ surprises a lot of people since I don’t work with a lot of people that knew that about me already. Most people don’t realize how nerdy (a good thing) my wife is. She is a super nerd.
What do you think is your best feature? c’mon, I know you have at least one!
I think my skin is my best feature. My wife’s best feature is her blonde, curly hair!
Who are some of your favorite musicians? music genre? and favorite song?
My favorite music is Latin hip-hop and salsa music. my wife’s favorite music is alternative rock, modern folk music, and Christian music.
Favorite movie and television show?
We love Blue Bloods, Rules of Engagement, the Office, and Parks and Rec. I like dramatic documentaries, and my wife loves the Hallmark Channel stuff (she says she likes “light” stuff).
What do you and your friends do for fun?
We like to eat out with friends, hang out at each other’s homes… nothing fancy!
One thing you could not live without?
We can’t live without our little Princess. We have a nine month old baby girl named Zoey Anneli, and that is why my wife isn’t able to assist me during shoots as much because she usually has her hands full taking care of our daughter.
